i'm pretty new to this and have the newest version of GIMP (which really is pretty close to photoshop in comparison i found out LOL)
my question is
is there a tutorial on adding a frame around pictures? i have a few frames picked out, but how do i get them on top of my pictures i have selected? if someone has the link to the thread i would really apprectiate it!
What you want to do is open up your photo and then copy and paste it into your siggy file. Then open your frame and copy that into your siggy file as well. They will each be on their own layer. Put the frame layer above the photo layer. Then you can either erase the part of the photo that is still showing above the frame or you can used the magic wand and go to the frame layer select inside of the frame and with the inside of the frame still selected go back to the photo layer, select inverse and hit delete.
