Thanks so much! I'm not sure how to make his head "pop out". I've seen it and I love the way it looks but I don't know how. I'm not really good w/ the photoshop tools yet. I was just having fun w/ some free kits. I agree that the shading would make it much better.

Drop shadows would make things pop definitely...also, watch your resizing things. Making them smaller is better, but making them bigger tends to distort them too much....I always start with them too big on purpose so that resizing them when needed is easy to do

To make his head come out of the frame a bit, duplicate your frame and have one copy above the picture and one below it. Make sure your picture is a bit bigger than the frame, and erase everything (except what you want sticking out) that is outside the frame. Then just erase the part of the frame that is over the head.
