okay. i have GIMP 2.6 and last night i started the siggy school lesson 1, i've already done these lessons but its been awhile so im doing them over to refresh my memory and i stumbled upon the same problem i had last time i went thru this. the border! i want to say its step 7 that im on, i went to the registery.com or whatever that website is that u upload the plug-ins and everything so i have all that but this is what its doing ...

its adding the border to the entire thing, i clicked inner border and everything and its still doing it. Is there something else i need to do to make this work?

last time i had this problem i had a old version of GIMP and couldnt find an answer anywhere so i rigged it lol i just painted the border onto the image, but it was a pain. Does anyone know how to make this work? do i need to add a new layer or something? idk.. help plz lol..

It would be better to do it on a separate layer but that's my preferance. It also look like the frame is coming big and you might have to resize it. There is something that is meant to make it easy but not sure. HTH in the meantime and hope someone else comes to help!

I think there must be a scale tool or go to 'Image' then 'Scale Image' & you can make it smaller. HTH
