So, as I am still learning, I want to be able to enhance the visual effect of the elements. How do u guys do it? I keep on trying everything and if there is something ugly I go back and try something else!

well, I don't edit my elements, can't say others don't. But i know a lot of it is just in the quality of the kits you use.

I know on some when I resize them smaller, they lose a little sharpness, so I will sometimes sharpen them just a tad.
