Generally for this challenge I provide y'all with a siggy template but this time you'll have to hunt up your own. Why do you need to learn how to use templates?
Templates allow you to have a basic sort of road map for a siggy. It doesn't do all the work for you, you still have to put time and energy into a siggy made with a template to make it look good.
Templates also help you learn about placement, which is one of the hardest things to get with siggy making.
I don't want you downloading a siggy template or siggy template pack. Nor do I want you to buy a digiscrap template. I'll give you some links where you can find some for free. DO NOT USE TEMPLATES CREATED BY JM MEMBERS!
Freebie Links: Scrapping with IkeaGoddess (the first section of each days' freebies is templates) Templates Freebies - DigiScrapDepot.com
You can use another freebie search site for finding your template. I just provided my two favorites. Also, the kit you use to make the siggy must be a freebie. Post a link to where you got the template and kit from when you post your original siggy. Then post both the original siggy in the Makers Lounge with the topic title of (your name) SSSC CC. Make sure you list what program you use and the theme of the challenge which is Using Templates. You should get plenty of CC from other makers, and I encourage you to also help each other. Once you're happy with the siggy and no one has any more CC for you you're done. Please have your final edit of the siggy in this post by Monday morning by 8 am central time (US), I will post the poll sometime around then and get the new challenge up that afternoon.
*NOTE: when using the digiscrap templates here is what I recommend doing before you start placing stuff on it: delete the layer for the background papers, resize your dpi from 300 to 72, and then crop off all the area you won't need.
