Creating a classic style siggy sometimes seems very daunting, especially since you don't see too many of them anymore. However, when I started siggy making they were all the rage and its what I first learned to make (and did a really cruddy job at first at ). Classic style siggies really help you learn photo editing and what fonts you should use and where you should put your text since those are the focus of the siggies. I'm not leaving you hanging sitting there thingking "Well, I don't know what to do with those!" I'll give you 3 examples, and you'll attempt to copy cat those. These three will be basic and simple, and next week when we do part two, your choices to pick from will be a little more difficult. You don't need to directly copy them (as in use similar pics or fonts) just the general layout. Here are the three you pick from:
