How could I have made this sig better?

This is my first sig, made with PSP X. I would like some opinions on what I could do next time to make a sig look even better.

Great job! I would make the writing darker, since you have a white stroke, so you can read it better. And have less of a shadow (or darker), so the elements don't look blurred.

You did really good for your first one!

Thanks for the advice! I'm having some insomnia trouble tonight, along with "morning" sickness. I'm going to go practice some sigs.
