I tried and tried to do "Leo"s siggy but Good Golly, Oh MOLLY the new version of GIMP is nothing like the explained the directions in that Lesson 1 from 4 yrs ago. I guess my problem is the merging layers bc I could erase to make the b&w background but at the end with the erasing some of the border, nothing would happen when I tried. Anyways, I finally decided to make one of my DS. It was fairly enjoyable and I think I'm catching on... phew!

i usually just google free digital scrap booking kits...i'll see if i can find the place i normally look around at..i'll try and find it post a link...

that's where i just look around on the different themes and all..you find some for free on there...plus i buy a few here and there if they are really cute

good job!! one thing i would do would be to make the drop shadow smaller on the name
