We are heading to Disney pretty soon and I am really considering taking my big camera. I don't know if this will be a disaster considering I have an infant and two other kids to keep up with. What do you think? Should I risk it? Would it be safe to leave in the room if I don't feel like taking it into the park. I don't think the room safe is gonna be big enough. I can't decide what to do.

If it was me I would take it. I take mine everywhere with me. Maybe take that and a small P&S but I think that you will regret it if you don't take your big one (or I know I would).

Huh...tough call. I think if you don't, you will look at all the pics taken with your point and shoot and wonder how they would have turned out if you had just taken the good camera. Take it! And have fun!

Since you have small kiddos with you, someone will have to refrain from going on the rides, so yes, I would bring it. My main concern would be having to leave it somewhere if I went on a ride. I would get a small case for it (one of those single camera/lens ones...you know what I'm talking about?) and wear it across your chest.

If it doesn't fit in the hotel safe, most hotels that I know of also have a safe at reception that they can store bigger items in. I know I've stored laptops etc in the past,
