I have been using Wal-Mart one hour and I have had enough. ALL my pics turn out to have a red tint and most look blurry. I keep thinking it's me and my fault with my shooting. I am starting to think my photo abilities are just fine and it's their processing.
Here are some pics I took yesterday.... well these are the "out takes" I posted in my PR. Matthew always makes silly faces at me. It's rare to get a smiling pic. I know they aren't awesome...and I do tend to have focus issues. I always have since the day I got my 50mm (I shoot with a Nikon D100). I still love the lens and just keep trying. Here are the pics.... do you see a red tint? Do the look dark and blurry? Why does it always seem like when I upload to photobucket the pictures look worse than they do on my computer? I am really frustrated and would love some advice.

So are these the images you got printed or photos of the photos you had printed? If they are the images then yes I can see the red mainly on the left side of his face on each of the images, it looks like it is being cause by a colour cast from the lighting (tree) and or his clothing. Also there is quite a bit of shadowing which could be casing the darkness in combination with the already dark background. They do seem a bit OOF I would say your SS was a little low.
mytwogirls- there is a big difference, I like the one that you took the contrast from a ton better..
I also wanted to add that you did a great job on the photos! it is pretty hard to get photos of a moving toddler thats for sure.. but when you upload any photo o the internet that you dont want to get "distorted" or the mpixels messed up a better route would be to "save for web"
Good luck!
