I got a comment from the bride of the wedding I shot and I am so happy, I was hoping to capture her day well, this is what she left on my blog:
Last night and today have been consumed with sharing pictures and sending e-mails. I am overjoyed and thrilled to be sharing such wonderful photographs with family and friends. I find that I am looking at the pictures constantly, and each time I am finding something that I didn't see before and am amazed at how you captured the magic and beauty of my wedding. I knew I had the best photographer from the second we hired you, but last night when I saw the pictures, and began to get teary-eyed....it confirmed you were the best! When a bride can look at her photos and feel the same emotions as her wedding day, it is incredible. Words cannot ever express my gratitude towards you. There were some key priorities we were hoping to fulfill in finding a photographer for our wedding and you went "above and beyond" any of our expectations. Just to name a few---you were thorough, you addressed all of our questions, you made everyone feel very comfortable come wedding day, and most of all you were incredibly friendly! You truly are an outstanding photographer who has an unbelievable ability to "find precious moments." Thank you so much for putting so much thought, care and personal attention into our album.
Such a nice comment to get after the client I am working with from the magazine I am shooting for claimed earlier tonight that I compressed some of the images to make the models leg and waist look fat lol...unfortunately that wasn't due to compression which wouldn't change the porportions of the model anyway, I shot in raw and didn't resize and while she still said she loved the pictures except the few "fat" pictures, I still felt a bit bummed but then I got the comment above from another client and it lifted my spirits
...I know I am not always going to have 100% positive reviews but its always nice to feel appreciated, wedding photography is where I want to be!
