Hi ladies!

I need some help with skin tone. I am trying to edit some maternity photos and mom's face is a little red and harsh looking. I'd like to even it out and perhaps get rid of some of the red. I have access to Lightroom and Photoshop but I'm not sure of how exactly to do this... can anyone help? I don't want to post the picture because it's a maternity shot, and I only have permission to use it in my portfolio not posting it all over the net hehehehe. TIA for your help!

You could try going into selective color and playing with reds on a layer mask...

Usually lifting the curves a little will help too!

Youtube "removing red from face in photoshop" should bring up a few tutorials and help you further! There are just so many things you can do! Keep playing with it!

I found a good tutorial on youtube called "facial scrub in photoshop" that may help you eliminate some of the reds..

here you go!

I usually use an action from coffeeshop. It's called baby powder room, of course I use it on adults too, lol.

I use powder room a lot too. I tend not to edit very much though.
