Anyone have any? My son will be 2 Sept 7th and I can't think of anything cute! We'll be going to the beach the last 3 days of July, so I may take advantage of that and do a shoot there. I'm drawing up blank on anything other than head shots and full bodies. I want something sorta creative.

any reason why you can't do a smash cake?

you could try something with lots of bubbles.

I was going to suggest bubbles as well. That's what I had planned to do, since Finlay LOVES bubbles! Or you could also do a some with balls. I plan on getting some of him running and jumping (since he does those things all the time now), and we may do a cake smash since we didn't do one last year. When I do any children, I generally just go with what they are doing.

I know, two years old it is!!! He's not too old for a smash cake? I figured it was a 1 year old thing and would have never thought about doing it with a 2 yr old.

Maybe find a little wagon? Whatever it is he has to have fun. He's SO uncooperative for pictures these days. Ever since he's learned to run away from the camera.... LOL

I've seen some cute images with kids of all ages and red balloons to signify their age. I might even do that with my son this year for his 5th.

I did a session with a 2 yr old little guy last week with balloons. He was super uncooperative until I brought out the balloons, then he did great! Or...I always thought a vintage trike would be fun!

I'm going to have to take some of these ideas too. DD turns 2 in Sept (27th) also. I wanted to do a smash cake last year but never did it. Make sure you post pics when you do them.
