Hi ladies...I'm so excited to see this new forum! I've always had some sort of interest in photography but during the past few years I've found my niche. I love traveling and have developed a passion for travel and landscapes. I still need to develop my skills with people, but I'm getting better at candid shots. I tend to lean more towards natural shots. I tend to use a Canon A520 and I love my Canon Rebel SLR that I got off ebay. I didn't want to invest the money until I could justify the expense of a good digital camera. I love B&W and most of what I shot with the SLR is in B&W.
Oh ya...I almost forgot! My name is Nicole and I would definately classify myself as an amateur, but I would love to make this my career one day. I thought I would share a few of my favourite photos from a few trips I took to Guatemala in 2003 and 2005. This is the first time I've ever shared any photos (except when people ask to see my vacation photos so I'm a little nervous!) I've never taken any clasees so most of what I've done has come from learning on the spot and going with my gut.
My home is filled with my travel photos and I get them enlarged in B&W and frame them in black museum mats and frames. Cheaper than buying artwork and people think you spend a fortune on artwork!
