Do you girls think we could have a sub forum for photo critiques? That way we don't clog up the main board with them?

Anyway here is my latest attempt using the natural light/no flash idea

I really don't like the fabric textures showing so much, yet if I try to soften it in photoshop the face gets blurred.

Should I have attempted to move her head up a bit to get more of the sunlight on it? This was with window light

I tried it with her on a white background, but she looked very pale against it...the same with a black one.

I am thinking of going to the fabric store and just buying a few bolts of different plain fabrics in different fabrics and colors. Any suggestions?

The subforum is a great idea....I thought of that as well. Maybe when they decide on hosts for this forum, you can suggest it again.

For some reason I can't see your pic?

That pic looks good...although I agree with you about the fabric!

I would definitely hit the fabric store and get some pieces of material...just look for kinds that are non-reflective.

Very sweet! I agree a different fabric might help here. You used the natural light very well!
