I'm sure you get these posts all of the time so I hope I'm not going to be too annoying.
I'm about to purchase my first DSLR camera and I'm super excited and overwhelmed trying to figure out what kind of lens or lenses to get. I think I've decided to go with Canon EOS Rebel T2i over the T3i so I can have a little extra money to spend on lenses. I'm just really overwhelmed by all the choices and prices!
I'm not looking to do any type of professional photography I just want to be able to get really good photos of my kids. I'm just not sure what kind of lenses to get so I figured I'd try to get a few to cover all the bases or if I should spend more on 1 really nice lens (and if so, what?)
These are the ones I was considering
Canon Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus Lens
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Lens
Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM Zoom
WDYT? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
