A friend wanted a picture of a pokeball I made in crochet, but I didn't want to take my DSLR out of its case so I took my Canon Powershot S5 IS ... Oh. My. Gosh.

How the heck did I spend 3 years using it??
The quality is just awful!!!

I wish I had mine still sometimes. It would be nice to not have to lug around a big dslr, especially when it is gripped with a speedlight and a heavy 28-75mm lens. And sometimes I feel silly with a huge camera like that but oh well I guess, it's worth the pictures I get.

I know what you mean! I HATE using my powershot... the quality sucks. The only reason I use it now is for video.

lol see now you got to post the picture!!! im curious!!

and i know what you mean seeing the pictures from the Nikon Coolpix that I have and this new camera...HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! its still a good camera....but the quality not so great compared to something else...i'll probably end up selling it for about 150-200 bucks to someone who wants it....i already know someone who is interested in buying it..but we'll see my daughter loves photography too...so i'll probably just let her have it LOL

Sure I just put the ball there and took a pic, but the quality...!
Too much noise, no sharpness, and the colors are awful!

And I think you all know I can take heck good pictures!!

I love my old P&S too for micro shots. I like the distortion it has actually.
