*Whining* "I want PhotoShop"!!

Maybe Dava can get my name in the Christmas drawing this year and she can send me it! Uh....just kidding LOL.

It's a bit pricey I think! So what version do you suggest? Remember I am a beginner so I don't need something too fancy. And how much can I expect to spend?

I have PSE 3.0 and I'm getting mor and more happy with it as time goes on. I found a few plug ins for curves and what not, and from what I am slowly learning, it can do darn near everything PSCS can do, for a fraction of the price.

Now PSE 4.0, which is what you get in teh stores, doesn't let you get the curves download, it won't accept it for some reason. But its still an aweosome program.

I know you can get 3.0 on ebay, and a few other places for way less than 100.00.

I would still like to get pscs, but, for what I do, and what they want for it, I would rather put my money in lens, and strive for better SOOC pics.

Brandy....hmm, I'll see if that can be arranged!

I have Photoshop CS...it runs anywhere from $300{not sure if the company is reputable or not} to $700 online.
I know nothing about the ones Cassie was referring to, but I would bet those would be fine for you...I would have went for one of those had Dh not had PSCS at work.

I use PS CS2. I love it but it is a bit pricey. I think for a beginner the lower versions are awesome and you really can learn alot. I think the lower version you will spend anywhere from $100-300 and be happy with your purchase.
