I had Ian all dressed up on Tuesday in hopes of getting some nice holiday shots for cards... I don't think these are there yet. What can I change to make them better? I am working with a smaller living room and my options for lights are either natural light through a large window, or house lamps with my digital camera white balance set for them. (these photos were taken with the house lamps)
Thanks!

I just thought of some ideas...If you have a big stocking stick him in one, or have DH wear white gloves so it looks like Santa is holding him.

I think these are all very sweet. 3 & 5 are my favorites. If you have enough light and time, I'd suggest giving full natural light a go too.

Those are so cute! The milk and cookies is a great idea! I would try the natural light and just see what looks better. The poses you have now are great!

Those are great...I agree about #3, too cute...I think you could lighten those up a bit and be fine, if you don't have time to try the natural light.

Thanks so much for taking a look... I hope to do some more with natural light just to see the difference.
Here were a few more from that day...

And some from before with natural light...
