You would think that since I'm married to a photographer, and we own our own photo business with a complete studio at home that we would take family pics all the time...WRONG! LOL! DH is wonderful with our clients, but I have to bug him constantly to get him to take pics of the kids. We are finally going to take Christmas photos of the kids tonight so that we can mail them out to family for Christmas. Hopefully they will turn out good. The older kids are great, but the 2 year old is a stinker! LOL! We are going to try and set the timer to get a family pic, but if that doesn't work then we will have to hire a photographer to take a family portrait. The last family portrait we had taken was before our youngest was born so I'd love to get a current family pic with all of us in it. Anyway, I'll post them tomorrow if they turn out

Good luck! I can't wait to see them. If it makes you feel better, I don't get family shots often either. No one is ever around all at the same time. Not only that, but after taking pictures of everyone else all the time the last thing I want to do is try to get my kids to smile too!

Well, we attempted to take pics but they turned out awful! Dh didn't like any of them. We desperately need a new studio flash, and DH didn't like our new brown back drop at all. Most of them turned out blurry because he wasn't using flash. Our 2 year old didn't cooperate AT ALL! LOL! She was running all over the place like a maniac. We are going to try and do them again tomorrow night on a different back drop. Here are a few pics from the other night (as I said they didn't turn out good):

This one I added text for my Myspace page:

Ohhh, I like the backdrop, it's awesome...and the comp of the 2nd to last shot is great, had the focus been "on" that would have been perfect.
Shooting 3 kids is a bit of a challenge isn't it? I feel your pain!
