Hope you don't mind me popping in here...but...

I'm wondering if anyone has any good idea's for simple at home props that don't look so "at home"?

I'm going to try to take my own Christmas pics and other than sitting the girls infront of the firplace or Christmas tree...I'm stumped.

I have a small wooden rocking chair that I think I"ll try and I plan on digging out a rockin horse that is in the basement.

Any other suggestions or idea's?

Thanks,
Cindy

I picked up a scarf, a santa hat and some snowflake things at the dollar store for props.

I use my two kids rockers all the time. I also use oversized bulb ornaments and tulle and christmas lights and red and green M&Ms.

Mmmm! I want to eat your props! The M&Ms idea is neat.....if I could keep the photographer away from them.

This year we have santa hats and large red/green/white lollipops. Hopefully I'll get around to shooting the kids Christmas shot before Christmas.

Of course we don't mind you popping in, I like the ideas you have...the rocking horse sound like a great idea. Come show us some pics when you do get them done.
