There's a sign at our mailboxes. The cat "Gray" was found in the same spot. He's run away again. The person took him to the shelter. I'm tempted to call them and tell them that he's an outside cat that has run away before because of a new dog and that the owners show absolutely no interest in bringing him inside despite it being so cold out.

I hate people who don't care for their animals! Grrrr..... Mine sleeps in a cage at night and when there's no one home because it was the only way I could keep him with me!

Too bad you couldn't just go pick up "Grey" and keep him as your own...

I wish I could! If it weren't for the extra vet costs (all animals are fully vaccinated in our home), then we would most certainly take him in. But between food, vet, and litter, we just don't have the money right now.

Yeah, as an outdoor cat he'd have to be checked.

I didn't bother keeping up with TJ's vaccinations. He was pretty unlucky as a kitten before I got him, and honestly, I'd rather come home and find him peacefully sleeping for eternity than having him have another reaction to a vaccination and die on me.
