How did your Christmas compare with your expectations? What it better? Worse?

I think my Christmas was much better than expected. It was still a difficult one, and I still broke down at mom's and cried; but I still enjoyed myself to an extent.

Mine was as expected. Christmas with my Dad was a joke....long story. But the rest of the week was great. What I love most about the holidays is spending time with family and that is what we did!!

Worse. I knew it would be rough, but the added, unexpected blow of being told that BIL and his wife are expecting again, along with finding out they think that DH's grandpa's cancer has spread.........Christmas Eve was good, and so was Christmas morning, but it went downhill quick from there.

I am sorry you had such a rough Christmas Day. I hope your BIL and his wife can get their acts together and better provide for their children. I also hope and pray for your husband's grandfather to be cancer free very soon. Please, keep me updated.

If you ever need anything, even if it's just "an ear" PM me. I'm always here.
