I read the book last year and couldn't wait to go see it in the theater. There is one scene that might be hard for some of us to see if you are not prepared. I knew it was coming and still got upset...I was, however, glad I was prepared and that it didn't catch me off guard had I not read the book.

I just wanted to warn some of you who plan to see it but haven't read the book.

*SPOILER BELOW*

There is a scene where Jen is pg for the first time and they go to the Dr for their first appt at 10 weeks. They can't hear a hb on a doppler so they do an u/s and there is no hb. They actually show the screen with the tiny sac and still baby that I am sure some of us have permanently imprinted in our minds from our own losses. They don't go into much detail after that so besides going home and crying so it isn't too bad but I know for some seeing that scene might be hard to handle. So if you plan to see it just be prepared for that scene...and take some tissues!

Thanks for the heads up. Since I'm not a big fan of dogs I wasn't sure if I wanted to see this movie, but now I for sure don't want to see it. It was hard enough going through that in real life. I surely don't want to re-live it in a theatre full of strangers.

I saw the post in PL about it... I'll wait to see it until I'm in the comfort of my own home, with a big box of tissues!

You will definately need the tissues because you will laugh so hard you will cry at times too! It is a great movie though if you are a dog lover besides that scene.
