I got up today and gave the little speech on the person I admire. I chose Mom and talked about how she's helped me through my losses. I lost it. Had to end what I was saying because I was crying. I wasn't even emotional going up. Next Friday, I will be. There's no doubt in my mind that I'll be emotional on Gwen's angelversary. How am I supposed to talk about my philosophy of life on the anniversary of my daughter's death?

I ended up emailing her. She's worked with my fiance for years. I hope she's understanding...

I hope she figures something out for you! Heck, even if you just give her the presentation at a later date and don't give it to the class.... crying infront of her is one thing, the class, is another
