I know this is an incredibly hard day for you. Double anniversaries are never easy. Just know that we are thinking of you today and you mourn little Garret and your dad.

Thanks ladies. I didn't see this until today. I decided to take a step back from the grief and loss boards for a few days so that I didn't get overwhelmed. I maid it through the week and especially that day without any major breakdowns. I made it clear to everyone in advance that Thursday was all about doing whatever I needed to do. If I needed to cry, I was going to cry, and if I didn't feel like doing anything at all, I wouldn't. In the end, I cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, I worked out HARD, (staying busy seemed to help) and then I soaked in the tub with bath salts and candles, and I had a good cry.

I survived another one, and I feel just a tiny bit better about facing the next double anniversary in August.

I'm glad you had an alright day, Steph. I'm also really happy to hear about the depression getting better. Let us know how it goes if you do go off the medicine.
