Soooooo, I told everyone I would update after my last D&C in November and I've been awful about doing that so finally I'm doing it! Okay so I was supposed to get a referral back in Nov. to see a specialist and that still hasn't been done! And I still haven't heard back from my doctor, so I'm pretty pissed about that and hoping to get that situation resolved soon. We got the results from the fetal tissue sample....we were having a baby boy, so I was right about that. The results were abnormal and showed the fetus has 69 xxy triploidy. While I'm thankful our baby wasn't born with triploidy I am left with many more questions for the future. From what I know most (if not all) triploidy pregnancies are partial molar or molar pregnancies and almost always followed by a molar pregnancy (oh great right?). So now I am really confused. Why haven't my doctors been testing me to make sure my hcg levels are going down and why didn't they test the fetus to see if it was a partial molar? And can I get pregnant in the next year or do I have to wait a year like you usually do for a partial molar/molar pregnancy. And if I get pregnant again is it going to be a molar pregnancy?? Aggghhh, I just want to know and my doctor hasn't called me back!!!

'Tis ok. Life happens.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with your doctor! Honestly, I'd be looking to switch. Two months seems a little long to me...

I would if I could, trust me, but when you have 'free' military medical care you don't get that choice. Thanks to you both for your support!

I'm so sorry honey

If it makes you feel any better, I had a partial molar pgcy along with aneuploidy and I conceived after. My doctor didn't seem concerned about the partial molar bit. Maybe this is nothing to worry about. You have enough to worry about after all! Don't google & add to the worries! I know how hard it is not to google, though.

Get on your doctor for that referral to a specialist! Will cross my fingers for you that it happens soon!

Thanks! That really does make me feel better. I know it couldn't have been a full molar pregnancy because I saw the baby in the sonogram and it looked like a baby. I am staying away from google now and am just waiting for my doctors call! Thanks everyone for the support and hugs! You rock!
