I am 13 weeks today, And I already had 2 miscarriages before hand. I heard my baby heartbeat last week when I was 12 weeks and I been kind of stress for about a week now over some family problems and now I'm discharging a clearish yellowish substance and I heard that's a sign of a miscarriage. This is my 1st pregnancy that ever went past 8 weeks. I'm still worried cause I dont want to have another one. I still have my symptoms. When I had my last 2 miscarriages my babies was already dead for 3 or 4 weeks before I started to bleed. What are my chances of having another miscarriage now?

Thanks,
Emmy

being out of your first trimester greatly drops the chance of miscarriage. Have you spoken to your doctor about your fears?

I'm sorry for your first two losses!

first off, congratulations on your healthy pg. Take a deep breath and start enjoying this one. You have made it past the big hurdle!! You got to here your babys h/b last week, and all is fine. The discharge you are describing, sounds normal. No old or new blood, and your symptoms of pg are still there. To be 12 wks and still early pg symptoms is great, most people begin to taper off around 8-10wks. Since you have had two prior m/c before the placenta took over, you are probably out of the woods now. If your feelings of anxiety get worse, call your doctor and see if he can do just a wellness check for you soon, before your next appt. With your history, the doctor would probably understand. Good luck to you, and start enjoying this, it goes by so fast........

I have already had 2 extra appointments because I had weird symptoms that worried me. I am sure it is fine since it isn't blood but to ease your fears you could call and see if they will see you. They may want to check for infection...but I don't think it is a sign of m/c.

I agree, if you are worried you should call the doctor. I've never made it past 11 weeks, but what you are describing does sound normal. You're not seeing any blood, so I think you're ok.

If it smells bad, it could be an infection. But truly, you have a lot of extra discharge during pg. I have to wear an overnight pad daily (between the discharge and urine leakage when I laugh or cough). Feel free to pm me if you want to chat.

I agree with this. I have never heard discharge is a sign on miscarriage ACTUALLY its fairly normal in pregnancy!! Im betting all is well, but call the doc if your still worried!

Your body is making tons of extra fulids when you are pg. I was another one who had to use a panty liner It is very common. But it would not hurt just to give your ob a call to ease your mind.

Also have you tried posting on the Pregnancy After Loss Board (not trying to run you off this one!!!)??? I love those girls! They gave me so much support throught my pregnancies and it is nice to know that you are not the only one who is on pins and needles.

Congrats on your little peanut!
