RPL can take a very big toll on one's relationship. One thing I think is very important is some good quality time. How do you and DH/SO spend your quality time together?

We haven't had a lot of focus on spending time together. When we do we usually hang around the house because we don't have too much free money.

As dorky as it sounds we play video games together. We both enjoy them and they are a good distraction.

We spend a lot of it playing games. We also like laying in bed and watching tv together.

We do old fashioned roll playing, Dungeons and Dragons style. We have writen some of the stories up but prefer when under duress to just play as then it doesn't have to make sense or be believible. If I am really down he'll just tell me stories about our imaginary friends.

Oddly enough enough years and years ago one of the chacters had a miscarriage. She had found a plant and it began growing inside her womb with the baby and tangled the baby and killed him. I cried for days and days after that happened to her.

Our game is set up like the movie "groundhog's day" We take the same peopel and run them through the same end of the world senario and every time turns out AMAZINGLY differnt. Which is why we had such a hard time writing up the stories as you change one little detail and the whole story is skewed.

LOL now I am embarassed to have shared out dirty little secret...

We don't have a lot of spare time these days with a 1yr old and a 2yr old. So we have couple time once the girls are in bed. Friday nights used to be "home date night". DH would pick up dinner andwe'd rent a movie. Now that we're able to get a babysitter we're setting aside time monthly to have date night and we go out.

It could be just for a walk and coffee, dinner, or whatever. The main thing is we spend quality time together since the quantity of time is on the short side. The best gift we can give our children is a healthy marriage and show them a loving mommy & daddy.

We love playing with our kids too! Plus I have a whole scrapbook of my characters better done than my baby books or wedding album that isn't even started yet...
