My name is Melissa. I was in the Jan 12 DDC. But last night I lost my angel. This is my second loss. I had a loss last year in April. DF and I are very upset and sad right now. I do not know what to do anymore. I am at a point where I am just going to give up trying. I was 18 weeks. But when I was in the hospital last night the doctor said the baby had stopped growing about 5-6 weeks ago.

A sad welcome for you Melissa. I'm sorry to hear you've lost your angel(s).

Are you having any tests run this time to see if there was a chromosome issue?

A sad but warm welcome to the board. What is the next step for you? Also, how far along were you with your first Angel baby?

*hugs* A sad, but warm, welcome. I agree with Ashley's question about chromosomal testing. Like, Rachel, I'm also interested in knowing how far along you were the first time.

I was only 7 weeks with the first lost. This one was so much harder then the first one for some reason. DF and I were not planning or trying for the first one. This one it took us almost a year and half to get my BFP. I also felt the baby move ect. The first one was hard just because once we did get the BFP we were super happy and excited and then it was taking away from us. I feel so bad for DF cause he was so diconnected from this pregnancy just for this reason. He told me last night. And right when he started getting excited (because we thought we were in the "safe zone" since I was almost 20 weeks. This happend. It sucks. I told him I don't want to TTC for a while and that I am kind of over it. He said that, that is ok and that when I am ready we will start again. But I honestly don't know if I will ever be "ready" again. We have talked about adoption before and I love the idea of it. Once we are ready to discuss and move on we will see what happens. I am so afraid to TTC again and this keep happening. I am so sorry for all of your losses and thank you for such a warm welcome

*hugs* After my second loss it took my three months to be ready to ttc again. That whole three months, I said "Never again" and then all of a sudden, I was like "Let's ttc NOW!"
