I know you from other boards, but don't recall you posting on RPL in the past. Either way, welcome to the board.

Thanks! It's nice to see you Augie! I have never posted here before b/c I usually don't like to talk about it, but I decided to just go ahead and start.

I had my first early loss right before I got pg with DS. Then I had an ectopic when he was 18 months old, when we started ttc #2. Then, I had 3 more early losses, and an 11 wk loss all in the next 18 months and haven't been able to get pg at all since.

We're glad you're willing to share your story with us.

If you haven't heard mine, I have had four losses, three of which were chemicals. My second loss was at 11w. Like you, after my last loss, I just stopped getting pregnant. We did some MA but finally stopped that feeling like it was just a waste of our money.

I'm sorry about your losses! That's awesome that you are a CPST! I used to be one also!

We went to an RE, had all the testing, and she basically said she could find nothing wrong and told us we needed to go straight to IVF. I asked if we could try IUI, and she said it wouldn't be worth it. I have had two laps for Endo, but nothing serious enough to prevent pg. My OB was certain I would get pg immediately after each one, and was shocked when I didn't. We can't afford to buy a baby (adopt or IVF).

That's awesome that you used to be a CPST. I love it.

My RE couldn't find anything either. He wanted us to move to injectibles but it just wasn't for us. We're hoping counting on grants and fundraisers in order to adopt.

Welcome Kara.

I'm ashley. I've had eight losses, resulting in ten angels. five chemicals, and three eight week or later losses. Mine are all explained, and when i stop using hormonal contraceptive there should be no reason for my infertility to remain. I'm not counting on that though.
