So a woman from another board, whom I have "known" since 2005, was told she was 100% infertile. Something to do with her ovaries. She never really made it clear, but she said that having her own baby was simply not an option and doctors told her to put it completely out of her mind. So, she and her husband adopted 5 kids. One, then another, then another, then twins sort of accidentally found them.

Weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant! She was in her 40s too. Her baby daughter was born and is absolutely perfect.

Just thought I would share. How crazy is that?

I love hearing stories like that.

I've got one too

My aunt had more than multiple miscarriages. She had approximately 10 +hpt's a year and then massive bleeding for over eight years. We talked her into stopping, into preventing because she was getting more than depressed over the matter. They started using condoms, and a couple months later she called to have me wait at my mom's cause she had something for me... and she walks in and hands me an ultrasound picture, she was six almost seven weeks pregnant!

That resulted in their miracle baby, who's not a baby anymore!

Then in 2009 they decided they'd try again. 6 months, no testing with pregnancy tests, would just let nature take its course. They'd start soon as her period came. It never showed.

And this is that miracle baby

Success stories always make me so happy

Beautiful stories and beautiful pictures. I too was told that I wouldn't be able to have children because my body didn't make enough estrogen and for some reason my body skipped normal ovulation. And on top of that I have a mild form of cerebral palsy . I never thought I have a child of my own so my husband and I were not expecting our daughter and originally when we found out I was pregnant the doctors assumed it would result in a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage but instead I carried our healthy beautiful baby girl a full 2 weeks after my due date and delivered her naturally with no drugs or epidural after only seven hours and 12 minutes of labor on Dec 22nd 2009. She had/has no health issues and was born at a whopping 7lbs 3oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She'll turn two in about 9 weeks and I couldn't be a happier luckier mommy to have her.
