Hello, and Thanks for the welcome. I am 25 years old and married for 6 years(with him for 9). My first pregnancy was when I was 20, ended in natural m/c about 7 weeks along in July of 2006, my second BFP was one month later, I have a handsome little boy Aaron(4). My third pregnancy was last year, I was 8 weeks along but the baby had stopped growing a week or two before. Natural m/c. Just before Christmas last year, I had another at about 6 weeks. Then this past spring I had a few months of absolute positive tests but ended up starting my period early or late. I stopped for a little while, and started trying again this August. September I had many positive tests, negative dr.s urine-started my period two days early. October rolls around and I had 20 or more....YES, I know wasting money, but I had all of the same symptoms and I knew i was, hpts confirmed, different brands, different sensitivities, different stores in different cities.... went to the doctor, negative urine and hcg was 4.... I tested with 50 mlu tests, they were positives, and I got positive tests at home 3 days worth AFTER the negative dr.s tests. SO, I switched dr.s and before I could get to my appt after the weekend, I started bleeding. then the hpts faded, and my symptoms went away, I ended up resheduling the appt, and I went a week later. He said I was a mystery to him, and referred me to a fertility specialist, he said the specialist works with mysteries like me. No problem getting pregnant, just staying pregnant. The last bloodwork I had done they found Hetero MTHFR...that was the only thing that showed abnormal. Now I have to wait until Febuary 2nd to see the specialist. NEXT YEAR!! I'm due to ovulate this coming monday, I'm not sure if I want to try again or not. I'm kind of in a bad place, hate the world, and feel like everyone and everything is against me.... don't know if it will get better from here or worse, but I hope it isn't worse. I don't know how much more I can handle.

I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm compound-hetero MTHFR. (I have one copy each of two mutations>) Do they have you on the supplements for it? You need to be on extra vitamins because MTHFR inhibits absorption. Baby aspirin also wouldn't hurt if you're not already on it.

Also, it sounds like you've had several "chemicals". I have too (so has my cohost, Ashley). Has your progesterone ever been checked?

ugh, chemicals. Not only is that world insulting, it's dehumanizing to the baby! grr.

Yup, I've had five chemicals, but I was on the pill at the time. two in university, and three in 2008 thanks to the NuvaRing. I also have an 8 week loss due to the nuva ring. It thinned my lining to the point that even if I'd caught that i was pregnant the first month (I bled after a test, I assumed it was another chemical) there was nothing they could have done at all.

*HUGS* no loss is a little loss. They all hurt even if we say they don't (I'm bad for saying that, just because my more recent losses do not hurt as much as my 3rd did). Hopefully the fertility specialist can get you some answers, but in the meantime being on the extra vitamins as well as the baby aspirin might be a good idea just in-case you do get pregnant again, might help it stick.

Welcome to the board, I know we all wish that we didn't have to be here. Also, I know that Feb seems like forever from now but I hope it comes quickly for you.
