I'm having a really bad day. Part of it is jealousy my step cousin's 19 year old wife is pregnant after the first try. The other part is 16 years ago today I found out I was pregnant a week later my baby was gone, flushed down the toilet. I deliverd a 8 wk baby who was perfectly neslted in it's sac. I am still wonder what that baby would be like, how the other babies I lost would be like. While I am thankful I didn't have kids with my X husband I still miss those babies. People think once you have a living child you forget those who were lost, I have more heavenly children than I do earthly children.

Unfortunately we've been led to believe that a living child will make it all better. For most of us, that's truly not the case; In-fact it can make it even harder.

I'm sorry for your losses sweetie, and you might take comfort in knowing you are not alone in how you feel. And remember, we're here for you anytime

I'm with Ash. I think having a living child may very well make it harder for some women.

Everyone grieves in her own way. Just because you have a living child doesn't erase the hurt and loss.
