I may be a total goon & missed it added on to another post - but did you ever fill us in on how things went with the genetic counsellor? If you did - sorry. I didn't ever see it & was hoping to hear how it went. If you did post it - please tell me what thread it is is in. Thanks!

Maybe you might be confusing me with someone else. I didn't have an appt with a genetic counselor yet. Just a new ob for a follow-up after my m/c. Incidentally he was awesome! He brought up doing testing, but I'm thinking I'm going to hold off on that for a few months. We're wrapping up paying on the d&c from Dec. come August. Fortunately I didn't have the d&c this time, so I won't have quite the bills. Anyways, maybe it was someone else who had the genetic counselor appt? Thanks for asking anyhow!

Okay - I went back & found my confusion - lol. You were replying to someone else that had an appt & wishing them luck & I totally read it wrong.

I am glad you like the new Ob. That is so important. And I completely understand about holding off to get bills paid. We have several we're working to take care of as well. It's astounding how pricey bloodwork alone is.

Well thanks for clearing that up & keep us posted on anything new. Sorry for the mix up.

No problem! I really like the fact that there are people like you on this website who tend to keep tabs on what other people are going through. Especially when people at home or work have no clue what you're going through. Its nice to have people who can identify with you.

Glad to know I'm not the only one with a mountain of bills...how bad is it that they come in the mail and I don't even open them anymore! Denial...it's a powerful thing
Stephanie-happy to hear you have a good new OB!
