hi i posted this in another board but maybe i should post here

Here is my story: i have been ttc for 2 months now and my last period was nov 11 and i had a postive pregnancy test on dec 09 faint but definetly postive. We were over the moon, i called my doctor and was not able to get in till jan .03 so i went to the walk in clinic here, the doctor i saw was terrible and said my test was negative im way to earlier and to wait till jan.03 he refused a blood test for me.

So i called my doctors office told them this and that i had taked 5 since then at home all postive even clear blue digital said postive 1-2 weeks. So they fit me in for an emerg. appointment, my doctor was nice and said she was sure i was pregnant and sent me off for blood work. i was 16 dpo when i went in and only 2 days late. She called me the next day and said i was pregnant but the levels are low so she said that my pregnancy attached but never went through and my body should have aborted this but hasn't and to go in for another blood test in a week, that she was going on vacation and another doctor will be in touch. i was in shock and hung up devasted been crying all week. I havent been able to stop googling and im so confused because everything i come up with says i need to have more then one blood test to determine miscarriage. i was only 2 days late when she tested so maybe too early? but wouldnt she have said that she is the expert.

anyways i am now 1 week past my period have not had any bleeding or cramping so i dont get why my miscarriage hasnt started. I went in for my next blood test today and they said they wont be sending results to doctors till tomorrow, out of curiousity i asked the tech if she could tell me what my last level was and she told me "201" and when i look at charts 201 at 4 weeks seems normal? i dont want to have false hope just to go through this all over again i feel like i should just trust my doctor but everything i read contradicts what she said!

thank you for reading i am just in need of advice

201 is a perfectly FINE number, your doctor should be smacked.

I've seen girls with betas of less than 50 at 16dop who have healthy pregnancies, every pregnancy is unique and should be followed as such.

*HUGS*

I agree. 201 seems like a good number.
