Hi ladies, Augie asked me to let you all know whats going on.

She has been admitted to the Mother Baby unit (which I think is cruel considering) where she will be at least tonight.

The spot in her tube is a little bigger today, and the doctor is thinking it is a heterotopic pregnancy though he can't say 100%. Her HCG went up by 100, and there is some internal bleeding.

She will be having surgery today, fairly soon.

Please continue to keep her and Chris in your prayers. I will update when I have another update.

I'm glad she is doing fine. Ditto what Ashley said - this is not the way they should be spending their new years.

I agree ladies. I agree. I have been in tears over this. I iwsh so much there was something I could do, we could do... and I know theres not anything we can do that we aren't already doing... being here when shes ready for us.

Another update:

I am getting all this on facebook as I have not spoken with her yet, but she said she lost alot of blood and her hemoglobin dropped to about 8.5. Shes been lightheaded from this. Also they are keeping her another night and as of lunch she ids allowed to have liquid diet. She has been pretty nauseated so they did start her on a stronger anti-nausea. No other news at this time.

OK ladies, i just talked to Augie. This is what she said.

Last night they were not able to go in laproscopically as planned. instead she has an incision similar to a c-section. It was a baby in her tube and it implanted close to her uterus, but was in the tube. The doctor was not able to save her tube, so she lost her tube, and she also lost a small corner of her uterus. However the doctor does not believe this will affect her ability to concieve or carry a baby in the future.

They will be trying to do some testing to find the cause of her losses. Hopefully this will bring some answers for her and Chris.

She is tired, which is expected considering how much blood she lost and how low her hemoglobin is. They are trying to get her up and walking tonight, and encouraging her to sit up right now.

Also she seems to have had an allergic reaction to the diluadid she was on, so they switched her to morphine and they also switched her anti-nausea med to better control that. She is feeling very dehydrated as well.

Poor girl. I need nausea meds when I take any heavy pain med! Zofran with Morphine... but the itchiness was soooo awful! My arm looked like something out of a Marvel superhero movie, with red streaks from the reaction. Thank God it stayed just in that arm.

Ashley, Zofran wasn't working for me. I am VERY itchy. I think they're trying to get my some Benadryl soon.
