How does that differ from where you are?

I thought I'd be teaching (in my own classroom). I thought I'd be married and probably have kids.

I'm married, am teaching (though not in my own room...I will never have my own room), and only have angels in Heaven.

When I was 18 I was engaged. So I figured I would be married with multiple children. I am married, have 1 child.

The things I thought I WOULDN'T have but do is a University degree, a house, a year of teaching experience under my belt. A husband with a PhD and the possibility to move half-way across the United States. I count myself very lucky, even with 5 angels in heaven.

At 18 I though by 28 I would be married with babies. I also expected to have a teaching degree.

While I have managed to get married, it was several years past when I expected it to be, and there are yet to be babies. No degree, I'm a house wife, which I don't mind being

I got married at 18 so I would be expecting to be going on a great vacation to celebrate my 20th anniversary on the 29th of this month. I expected we'd have a bunch of kids. Which we do just not with each other...

I never imagined living in Oklahoma, or having my kids late. I wanted them close together but when I was 20 not pushing 40. I never expected to adopt as a single parent.

When I was 18 I really didn't think I'd be anywhere. I was kind of a mess then.

And now...I am married with a baby(something we thought we'd never get)

Married with multiple kids, living on a ranch in Idaho.. and practicing in my own firm.
How does that differ from where you are?
I divorced that guy.. so yeah, that didn't work out, Thank God! I am not licensed yet, so can't really have my own firm until I am. I have one child, not multiple. Never in a million years did I expect to be almost 37, pregnant with my 7th pregnancy and hoping to have 2 kids. That sort of stuff just doesn't cross your mind.

I don't remember... 18 was a long time ago! lol

I don't think I knew what I wanted to do. I was still pining over my broken arm and crushed hopes of being a professional gymnast. Got a worthless degree in art history. Just sort of let life happen to me. I was educated at least, and ended up in a decent career as a web designer, but I wasn't passionate about it. Got a 2nd bachelor's (nursing) but didn't work as a nurse, either, due to the arrival of my twins. Now I'm a SAHM and I love that, and am very good at it.
