Ours is outdoor, but I live in the deep south. It's 90+ degrees here today. The pool is open from early april to octoberish, depending on weather.

Where I grew up it was only warm enough to open the pool from the last week of June to the last week of august. LOL. It's not much better in Wisconsin.
DH can't do outdoor pools because of his skin. He has to stay covered up, and water+sun would make him miserable!

I fry, but that's what good SPF is for, lol.
Rachel, I remember dealing with that in UT, lol. I do not miss the cold winter weather. It's been over 6 years since I saw real snow, lol.

My DH is from NS and he does only talk loud at all. Then again, I am from 'the Rock' and nothing is as loud as my family!
As for the swimming thread, I grew up on an island and am petrified of the water. We were surrounded by water but it was not safe to swim in and there were no backyard back then.

My first two are 16 months apart and it was great! Good luck and have fun!

lol My family is originally from Harbor Breton, loud doesn't even begin to explain it. My dad is from The Valley, again, very loud people. People from the French Coast are pretty quiet from my experience.. at least compared to everyone else.

I thought it was just me that pulls back around this time of year. Hugs. I hope it gets better for you.

*hugs* to both of you.
I'm just spastic. Sometimes I'm all over the posting thing.. others I realize "crap, I haven't posted anything in a while!"
We are in the midst of another family illness. I'm just waiting on word if I need to turn on the tears to go home or not. (would be an expensive trip, nearly $2000)

Not just you. From now until after Father's day I prefer not to see or speak to anyone. Here's to hoping we all feel a bit better soon.
Ashley, hope your family is doing okay and you don't need to go home.

So far so good. she was doing better yesterday, kidneys working again... I wish they'd just make her get an insulin pump and go on a diet so this would stop happening. But in the area the doctors seem to only make the kids actually treat their diabetes properly.

Why is it so hard to find jeans, pants, or capris without 'pre-done' rips and tears? Why would I want to pay 50 bucks for a pair of ripped up pants?

I've never understood that fashion period. if my jeans tear, they're trash. I can handle some fraying at the hem. I'm short, they drag.. I get over it and just trim the fraying.
But I could never go out in ripped clothing. Maybe that makes me old.. but I think it looks awful.

I don't mind fraying at the hem, but ripped holes? uhm, that means they become work pants...painting, cleaning, yardwork..but not in public pants, lol.
I'm not really a fashionista, I much prefer classic looks that aren't going to be out of style in a year.
I did not sleep last night since DH was sick and kept me awake. I'm so freaking tired.

ugh! that's the worst. I don't sleep because, I just don't sleep. Even with drugs there's no guarantee I will sleep. I should go strip our beds and wash the sheets. I've been super itchy at night and it's keeping me awake. As if the heart burn wasn't bad enough?

ugh, I hate that. I've needed to change the sheets on our bed for a few days and I hate to do it because it's a pain to change them due to the weight of our mattress.
