As Tuesday gets closer, I find myself terrified that something will happen that will stop us from fostering.

I can't see something preventing you at all. You may have to do some more things, or make a few more changes... but that's manageable!

Love you girlie, good luck on Tuesday!

Augie, you were meant to be a mom (to living children). It will happen. Yes there may be more changes you have to make, but nothing you can't handle. Hugs and you are in my thoughts, and prayers! hjmbng6ufjjhtbtjvbtyujm iigjmkiygjnm7jyt;ldhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmtuy rt vf

Leigh was helping, she was typing out a prayer for you to become a mommy

I really need to do a blog post. LOL

One week down. Classes have gone well so far. There are three couples taking it. Chris and I expect one of the couples to dropout of it. He didn't seem to understand coming in that these are NOT HIS KIDS and that he will have to answer to DSS.

It's a lot of paperwork, and I'm still nervous but I'm allowing myself to feel a little hope too. We I have made a big dent on the paperwork we've been given so far. (Chris hasn't helped, but that's ok. He's working and helping with the house. I told him I would take the brunt of the paperwork when possible.) However, we haven't started the homework. He's not getting out of that one!

Class has been fun so far. I expect next week will be emotionally hard. They told us last night that usually if people leave it's in the second week because that's when we start talking more about the kids and what they've through/behaviors to expect.

So exciting Augie. I'm sending continued good thoughts your way.

My friend who adopted 5 foster kids has stories that make you want to scream and throw others to a pack of hungry lions. But she and her husband are creative and loving and figured out ways to help their kids adjust to a normal life, where there are things like people whom you can trust and a Santa Claus.
