Sometimes life seems hopeless. One thing after another piles
up until it feels like our hearts will not be able to handle one
more bit of pain or loss. We’re so tired and angry and
discouraged with life that we feel like crawling into a cave
and never coming out!

Hope is an amazing thing that is difficult to explain with
words. When hope enters our lives we know it, though,
because a spark ignites into a flame and we suddenly see
light at the end of the tunnel. We realize that our deep,
raw pain will not last forever. Joy will eventually come
into our lives again.

It doesn’t take much to awaken the hope that lies deep within
every heart. A caring smile from a friend. A listening ear.
A brief note of encouragement just when we need it the most.
The sound of laughter reminding us that life is still good. A
rainbow painting the sky with brilliant colors following a
storm. A songbird perched on the porch rail. The smell of
the crisp autumn air.

Reminders of God’s love surround us daily. When we
understand His love and tender care for each of us, our
hearts begin to fill with new hope. No situation is too big
or too difficult for God to handle. No pain or discouragement
will be left unattended by our heavenly Father. No night
will stay dark because God’s light can filter through even
the blackest of nights.

Hope is everywhere and no heart will be left unattended by
God! --Clara Hinton

“Hope gives us the courage to face every new day.” --C. Hinton

“For everything there is a season….a time to break down, and
a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to
mourn and a time to dance.” --Eccles. 3:1-4
