Hun I haven't had a D&C so I can't tell ya. I do know from what I remember being posted here it seems to vary a bit. I had natural mc's & bled about a week for each one. I wish I could offer you better info.

Sorry, mine were both natural too. I think there is a sticky on the Pg Loss board that talks about D&Cs and what to expect. Also, many of the ladies here have had them, and I'm sure someone can tell you. Good luck..

Maybe my Dr. is really good and thorough but I have never bled after a D&C. At the most I had a little bit of light spotting but not enough to use a real pad only a pany liner. It was so much better that way.

I bled for a week and spotted for another week, so 2 weeks in total.

I'm sorry for your loss! After my d&c in June, I only had spotting the day of surgery and then some light staining for a couple of days after that. But everyone is different, so anything from a day to a few weeks is probably normal. If you are filling a pad an hour (or faster), call the doc or head to the ER.
