Was she able to go home on Wednesday? She's been in my prayers. Just wanted to know how she's doing. Please give us an update when you get a chance.

Shoot - I should have updated you sooner, but I've been out of sorts. She actually was released early because she was doing so well. The results aren't yet in from the biopsies they did during surgery. She has had her stitches removed (which she said was horrid & she nearly passed out). She still has physical therapy for her neck muscles. I am in Chicago this week for work & won't return until Friday night - so I will go directly to her house & bring her home for the weekend with me. So that's all there is for now. Thank you so much for keeping her in yoiur thoughts & prayers - it means a lot!

What an awesome report!! I'm glad she got to go home early. Home helps speed up the healing. I don't blame her a bit for almost passing out during the stitches removal. I almost pass out just looking at stitches (mine or anyone else's), but the tugging that happens when they take them out...ugh, OK gotta stop that thought or I'll be on the floor!

I'm glad you'll get to spend the weekend with her. That should be good for you both! When does she have to start the radiation? Keep us posted when she gets her results back.

I'm glad that she is doing so well. I was beginning to worry when we hadn't heard from you.
