and it's not until NOVEMBER 2!!! This is just getting crazy...it took me weeks just to get a hold of anyone, and now I have to wait a month and a half to even get seen for the first time?? It could take a few months to do the testing they want to do...only problem is DH is military and leaves for a month in January for training, and then leaves in April for 4 months! So not only will he be missing some of my appointments if it carries into January, but it's going to be a loooong time, like at LEAST a year, before we can even try again. I am heartbroken...
And I'm almost on the verge of just trying one more time by myself...I feel like I can't heal from these losses because I'm so stuck! I feel like I can't move forward at all...
AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Awe hun...I'm sorry. The waiting is hard. The good news is if you get in on Nov 2 they usually start many of the blood tests then, and while some of the tests need to take place once AF starts (e.g CD3 FSH levels, etc) you should hopefully be done testing in about 4 weeks, and have your results. I hope things go well and the next 6 weeks go fast for you.

It's frustrating to have to wait so long for something you're wanting to do. You might call them back, explain the situation with your DH and ask if they can also put you on the cancellation list - to get called when someone cancels their appointment. That might get you in earlier.

I agree with both ladies & just wanted to offer you (((hugs))). I can hear how frustrated you are & I knwo I would be too. Hang in there - I am sure they can work something out to help you get this done before he has to go.

I wish to God that I could do this, but unfortunately the crazy doctor isn't even in the office the entires months of Sept. and Oct. What kind of RE just skips out for 2 months?? It's all military too, which just makes everything way more difficult than usual...

Well that just sux! I take it there are no other military medical facilities close enough to try to get an RE there? My DH is from a military family, so I understand the frustration with their medical services.
