Candace I hope passing Delaney's DD has brought you some level of peace & a day of remembrance for your angel. I know no amount of time can make it all better - but I am hoping today you have a little more peace & that with each day that passes, that peace grows. Sending you love & prayers.

I lit Raven's candle for Delany on Sat. I am positive she would want to share that with him. I thought of you lots the whole weekend. I hope you have a little more peace in your heart after such a day. You are in my prayers sweetie.
Love, Norina

Thanks everyone. Saturday passed without too much pain. I just went on about my day as if were every other day. DH and I went on a date the night before and just had some "us" time.

The only noteworthy thing that happened was a dream I had...
I was in a large beautiful ornate building. There were tables and chairs so it must have been a restaurant. I saw my Aunt Dee sitting at a table and she motioned me over to her. (My Aunt Dee died of Alzheimer's four years ago.) She had an excited and kind of mischievous look on her face. She pointed behind her and my Nana and my mother appeared at the table. (Mom died in Nov. 05 and Nana died in Jan. 06) They just kind of come into focus. We didn't say anything to each other but I could just feel the love and joy emanating from them. They were filling me with their joy...if that makes any sense. I had this feeling of expecting something wonderful. Like maybe they wanted to show me something but then my DD came in and woke me up. I wasn't even irritated about that because the dream left me with such a feeling of peace. Maybe they were going to show me Delaney...I'll never know. But I'm so thankful for that dream. It was exactly what I needed...to see the women that I wished I could talk to on Delaney's due date, to see that they were together and joyous, to know that they were coming to me to comfort me because they are still aware of what is going on in my life and they care.

Maybe I'm being silly and maybe it was just a dream but I'm so blessed to have had that experience.

You are not silly! That was a true blessing...sent straight from Delaney on his DD!!!! What a beautiful experience to have. I am so glad you had some peace...I'm wondering if also your loved ones had a baby in mind for you...maybe they're getting ready to send a baby...Delaney perhaps back to you? What could cause so much excitement then that? Just a hope I have for you...

Thanks Norina...I don't really feel silly. It didn't feel like a dream, it felt like a reunion. I had that thought, too...that maybe that incredible feeling of something wonderful coming meant that I would have a baby. But it could have been so many things. Part of me feels like it was just that they were showing me that where they are is filled with joy and that I'm going to be with Delaney and them again someday.

Love,
