Beckie, you're so sweet to be thinking of me. I'm sorry I haven't been around much, everyone. I miss you all!!

I only have a few minutes to update, unfortunately, so I'll try to explain what's been going on in a nutshell. As most of you know, I've went on vacation a few weeks ago.. Well, while I was there, my mom and her husband fought a lot, just as they have been for a while. He went home in the middle of the week, and when her and I got home, they went to their therapist and decided to formally separate for a minimum of 3 to 6 months... So my mom has been living with me in my one bedroom apartment for the past 3 weeks or so. It's hard to have enough privacy to come to the boards, so that's why I haven't been here much. The separation is hard on both of us, because he's been very verbally assaultive. There's just a lot of pain. But now my mom and I are in the middle of packing things up and getting ready to move into a 2 bedroom apartment by the second week in November. I'm just feeling really stressed out and lonely.

So that, in a nutshell, is what's going on. Again, I'm sorry I haven't been here much. I can't even tell you how wonderful it felt to log on here today and find this thread. This is my first time being here in over 2 weeks, I think.. And coming back to seeing that you've been thinking of me is exactly the remedy I needed this morning! Thank you so much.. I'll try to be here more often, but please know that you are all in my thoughts day in and day out, even when I'm not here.

Oh goodness, Nicole! As if you needed more going on in your life right now. I'm glad your mom is in a safer place now, though if it was me and my mom in cramped quarters for 3 weeks I'd probably move to my car! Glad you checked in and look forward to hearing from you more frequently when you get time.

I was sooooo glad to log in tonight & find an answer from you! I am glad everything is "okay" or okay as it can be given the circumstance. I am hoping you & your mom get along better than me & mine, as I would end up living in the car with Kathryn as well. Maybe you are just sweeter than we are. It sounds to me like you have your plate VERY full & I look forward to things settling down & when you can come back around. I miss your posts & your insight you share. I am sending you some really needed "relaxation vibes" - think "ohmmmmmmmm". (((hugs)))
