When I went to the RE she said I had follicles on my ovaries 9 on one and 8 on the other..can anyone tell me a little bit about them..she said it was good..but just wondering exactly what they are...

Follicles are sacs on your ovaries that once matured can release an egg. Not all follicles will release an egg though and you usually have a dominate follicle anyways that will release an egg when you O. Once that follicle releases an egg it becomes known as the Corpus Lutieum and produces progesterone during the luteal phase.

Gosh...I sound like a textbook! I need a hobby besides TTC!!!
