I soooooo want to try to learn how to knit. My grandma made the most beautiful blankets (I have a FULL size bed blanket that she made when I was little and my baby blanket that I slept with every night is still going strong) and I'd love to learn how to do it. I've messed with it a bit, but lose interest or get frustrated. Reading about the groups that make tiny gowns, hats, and blankets for the stillborn babies and their mothers has me intrigued and I would like to get good enough to help with something like that.
What about you?
Do not sorrow; the joy of the Lord is your strength." Neh. 8:10
Nothing new persay, but I'm trying to find the time and energy to pick up some of my old hobbies. I used to play classical guitar but it's been so long that I need to reteach myself, and I'm starting to design newsletters and getting my creative juices flowing again.
I've also started to reach out more with friends and try to make an effort to connect with them.
Right now I don't really have time for hobbies. I guess I would like to try to spend more time with my kids. We have restarted our old tradition (stopped for awhile) of having a family night. I used to make photo charms for italian charm bracelets and that was pretty fun but it was quite time consuming.
