Are you doing anything for the long weekend coming up?

I get to clean for the long weekend. We have family coming into town next week for Bryson's first birthday party and the house is a disaster! Oh the fun!

I didn't even know it was a long weekend (we don't get paid holidays where I work but I usually take them off without pay). I need to see if my DH gets the day off. Whoo-hoo.

is it columbus day? DH doesn't usually get it off but he took of the monday/tuesday. Lily is getting christened on Sunday and then we're going to Fresno to see my grandmother and some family. My grandma has alzheimers and has gotten to the point of forgetting how to chew/eat. So i really want Lily to meet her sooner rather than later.

I have every Monday off, so technically , every weekend is "long" for me, but I didn't realize we had a holiday. Woops. Bad Patience.

It's not a holiday for me. But I am excited because Friday is my 1 year wedding anniversary with Stefan. He's taking me to a romantic restaurant called Woodward's Garden that I've been wanting to try. And it just turns out that I will be ovulating this weekend, probably Sat or Sun, so I plan to be busy making an anniversary baby.

On Sunday we will probably go to the San Francisco Decompression of Burning Man. I've never been to Burning Man and probably never will, but I do enjoy going to Decompression to see a few of the large art installations and the people in their wacky costumes.

Cherylk, I love your new siggie. Very cute!
