Sorry, this is a gross question.

With both of my girls I always had cream colored or white discharge throughout pregnancy. Well with this baby it's been green the entire time.. Like. . A really light/soft color green. (sorry ) It has no yucky odor.. and earlier on in the pregnancy I had really bad itching (that still comes and goes) - and my doctor tested me for yeast and it came back negative.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced green discharge without having any infection?

I haven't had any of the greenish discharge but I did have a hellish yeast infection a few weeks ago. It was terrible. Maybe your natural bacterial balance is just a bit off with this pregnancy but not enough to grow into a full infection? What did your doc say about it?

Sorry about your yeast!

I mentioned it to my doctor and then she tested me for a yeast infection and it came back negative -- and she never said anything else.

This morning it's coming out in globs I have no idea .. it just seems so weird.

Could it be another type of infection? Did they test for anything besides yeast? I mean if she isnt worried I wouldnt be either but Ive never heard of that before.

I dont think she tested for anything else -- I dont know! I just described the itching and said about the greenish dc and she did a swab .. Then called me the next day and said it came back negative.. So I have no idea.
At my last appt I mentioned it again and she said I could use the 3 day Canestan treatment and that should get rid of it.

Oh ok. Well hopefully that will get rid of it (if its bad). I remember several mommas having greenish discharge and they were always told it was an infection but of course that may not have been the case. Good luck with the treatment!
